Terms of Use

Effective Date: 10/10/2026

Last Updated: 10/20/2026

These Terms of Use govern access to NoteScored’s website, application, and related services provided by NoteScored - an Entity of Compel Inner-Province LLC.

By accepting these Terms or using the service following presentation of these Terms, you agree to them. If you act for a church or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Purpose of the Service

NoteScored provides contribution-counting controls, reconciliation assistance, approval workflows, contributor records, reports, contribution-letter preparation, and selected financial-document tools.

NoteScored is not a full accounting system, bank, payroll service, independent auditor, law firm, tax adviser, or tax-filing service. Its records supplement your church’s books, bank records, and professional advice.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities

Account users must be at least 18 and authorized to perform their assigned duties.

You must provide accurate account information, use individual credentials, protect passwords and devices, and promptly report suspected misuse. Do not share an account to impersonate separate counters or verifiers.

Church administrators are responsible for assigning appropriate permissions, reviewing access, and promptly suspending or removing users who no longer require access.

3. Church Data and Authorization

As between NoteScored and the church, the church retains its rights in the records and content it submits. Individuals retain their applicable privacy and other legal rights.

You authorize NoteScored to host, process, reproduce, transmit, and display submitted information only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and support the service, follow authorized instructions, and comply with law.

The church is responsible for having lawful authority to submit contributor information, rosters, receipts, financial records, signatures, bank details, and tax identifiers, and for providing required notices and obtaining required permissions.

4. Accuracy and Human Review

You are responsible for reviewing entries, imports, contributor associations, suggested categories, signatures, reports, letters, and generated documents before relying on or distributing them.

Automated comparisons and suggestions do not independently verify donor intent, identity, payment authenticity, bank settlement, or tax treatment. Imported historical gifts have not necessarily undergone NoteScored’s original counting and approval process.

Different reports may include different sources. Contribution-letter totals, approved-session statistics, and accounting exports may therefore differ.

5. Counting and Approval

Completed count sessions require two distinct counters and a separate verifier. Each participant must perform their assigned responsibilities honestly and independently.

Approved live records are protected against ordinary editing and deletion. Corrections must follow available correction procedures and preserve appropriate historical accountability.

Approval confirms completion of the workflow based on submitted information. It does not prove that cash was deposited, a check cleared, an electronic transaction settled, or fraud did not occur.

6. Electronic Records and Signatures

Where a signing workflow is available, applying a signature or selecting a clearly identified approval action expresses your intent to approve the displayed record in the stated capacity.

You may upload or apply another person’s signature only with their express authorization. An uploaded signature must not be used to bypass that person’s required review or approval.

Signature images and workflow records are not notarization, independent identity verification, or a guarantee of enforceability. Separate consent and disclosures may be required for particular electronic records or tax-document delivery.

Save accessible copies of completed records. Contact us before signing if you need an available paper alternative or assistance accessing a document.

7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Trials

Your selected plan, price, billing frequency, included features, trial conditions, and any minimum commitment are those disclosed and accepted in your order or checkout.

Any 24-month minimum commitment must be expressly disclosed and accepted before purchase. Monthly billing does not necessarily mean a month-to-month commitment.

Any automatic renewal, cancellation deadline, remaining-term charge, or refund restriction must be disclosed in the applicable order or checkout and is subject to applicable law.

You authorize charges expressly accepted for your subscription. Applicable taxes and separately disclosed third-party fees may apply. We will provide advance notice of material price or renewal changes as required by law.

Trial features may be restricted when a trial expires. Do not assume that read-only access or post-cancellation access will continue indefinitely. Arrange necessary exports before access ends.

8. Online Giving and Third-Party Payments

When enabled, donations are directed to the identified church through its connected payment arrangement. NoteScored does not become the charitable recipient merely by providing the software.

Payment processing is subject to the processor’s terms and applicable church disclosures.

Platform and processor fees may apply as disclosed in the applicable setup, agreement, or checkout.

Recorded gross contributions, net proceeds, and bank payouts may differ because of fees, refunds, disputes, reversals, and settlement timing.

Contact the receiving church about donation corrections or refund requests. Refunds, disputes, losses, and chargebacks are handled under applicable law and the relevant church and processor agreements.

Cash App and Zelle entries or imports do not establish a direct integration, partnership, or independent verification by those providers.

9. Text Messaging

If you use an enabled messaging feature, you authorize communications necessary to respond to your request, subject to applicable consent requirements. Marketing messages require any separately required consent.

Message and data rates may apply. Use the displayed STOP and HELP instructions where supported. Carrier delivery is not guaranteed. Never text card numbers, bank account numbers, or tax identifiers.

10. Acceptable Use and Demonstrations

You may not use NoteScored to commit fraud, conduct unlawful fundraising, impersonate another person, misuse a signature, access unauthorized records, distribute malware, disrupt the service, or bypass security and approval controls.

Do not enter real donor information, bank details, tax identifiers, sensitive receipts, or real transactions into demonstration accounts. Demo records are for training and may be reset or removed.

11. Privacy and Confidentiality

Our Privacy Policy explains our information practices. Each church must also protect the information its users access and limit collection and disclosure to lawful, appropriate purposes.

Downloaded files, printed documents, shared links, and exports remain the responsibility of the person or church controlling those copies.

12. Intellectual Property

NoteScored and its licensors retain rights in the software, interface, branding, and related materials.

Subject to these Terms and your subscription, you receive a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the service for your organization’s authorized activities. You may use and retain your church’s generated records for legitimate church purposes.

13. Availability and External Services

The service depends on internet connectivity, compatible devices, and external providers.

Features may change, experience interruptions, or require maintenance.

Unless separately agreed in writing, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, recovery of every file, or compatibility with every bank, printer, browser, or accounting configuration.

You are responsible for maintaining independent copies of records needed to satisfy your obligations.

14. Suspension, Termination, and Records

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address security risks, unlawful activity, material violations, or unpaid accepted charges. Where practical and legally appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Termination does not automatically erase approved records or other information subject to lawful retention. Export availability, transition assistance, and continued access depend on the applicable agreement and service capabilities.

15. Warranties and Responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee error-free outputs, prevention of fraud, eligibility for tax deductions, or compliance with every legal or accounting requirement.

Each party remains responsible for obligations and liabilities imposed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights, remedies, or duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Disputes and Applicable Law

Contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve a concern.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia , excluding conflict-of-law rules, subject to mandatory applicable protections. Unless a separately signed agreement provides otherwise, disputes will be brought in Superior Court of Coffee County, GA , to the extent permitted by law.

17. Changes and Other Agreements

We may update these Terms and will provide notice of material changes as required by law.

Changes requiring renewed agreement will be presented for acceptance.

A separately signed agreement controls where it expressly conflicts with these Terms. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
